Columbarium Design

Columbarium Design Services for Churches, Cemeteries, and Engineers

At Columbarium Planners, we design and create custom columbariums for churches and cemeteries in North Carolina and beyond. Our team is comprised of site planners, landscape architects, and facility designers. In addition to working directly with clients, we are also available to subcontract for architect and design firms.

About Us

Since 1994, we have completed over 74 columbarium planning projects. Our team works closely with church committees, cemetery directors, and architects to design site-specific columbarium gardens. Each columbarium is uniquely designed to suit our client's wishes, and is hand-built with beautiful, resilient materials. Because of this, each columbarium is completely unique.

Plan and Concept Phase

A columbarium is a sacred space where loved ones gather to memorialize those who have passed on. As such, we work closely with clients to design a beautiful, peaceful space that suits their needs and design choices. Many of the columbariums we design are added on to existing structures. We also serve as resources and/or subcontractors for architect and design firms who are creating new churches and cemeteries.

Construction Phase

After months or more of planning and conceptualizing, we will proceed with construction. Our team custom builds each piece of the columbarium to guarantee its quality. Additionally, we use only the most attractive and resilient of materials during construction, including concrete, steel, bronze, granite, and marble. Each client's satisfaction is our ultimate goal. Therefore, we work closely with our clients throughout the entire process to ensure that every need is met.
